Project Progress

During the Development Phase, we will construct methods for data collection and submission and clarify procedures in preparation for volunteer testing. We will attempt to identify any possible sources of error in our methods.

Where we are and where we are going

We will begin to test our methods and procedure. We will send measurement procedures for data collection to participants and continue revising procedures. This will optimize our data collection methods, ensuring that participants will collect only the most valuable and reliable data.

Procedures are finalized and the project reaches the end of development. If the project successfully completes its goals, the procedures we developed will become part of the citizen science network of  Cornell University's Lab of Ornithology.

Planning begins the project development, where we identify the project's goals, and develop plans to reach feasible goals without our time frame.
